Our client is a prestigious manufacturer of public playgrounds made of robinia wood. This company designs one-off, completely customised installations, sometimes multi-body ones, in which wood is combined with metal elements, most often stainless steel.
The client started producing playgrounds in 2008 and is already a well-organized enterprise, with strongly developed production and distribution departments, employing nearly a hundred people. The process of designing and constructing a playground is a multi-stage, time-consuming one, as our client prides itself on making each playground different from the others. The most complicated and challenging are the various types of stainless steel elements that are mounted on wooden towers, platforms or other wooden structures. The problem in the production cycle is the limited capacity of the locksmith shop. This department occupies only a section in one of the production halls and employs few people, making it difficult for it to meet the needs of the company's other departments.
In the spring of 2022, the company’s management approached us with a proposal for cooperation, so that we could support them with our production capabilities and construction services. We first visited the company’s headquarters in Germany, familiarised ourselves with the production capabilities of the metalworking department and discussed the concept of cooperation between our companies. The initial arrangements were further refined a few months later, during the client representatives’ visit to the TRB GROUP’s (RECCREO) production facility.
Together we agreed on the principles and goals of our cooperation:
1. Our client entrusted us with the production of repetitive, standardised components including handles, slides, anchors, and carousels made of either hot-dip galvanized or stainless steel materials. The purpose of this action was to free up production capacity in the locksmith shop in Germany for unitised large metal structures.
2 Our design department is committed to creating new equipment to meet customer needs so that they can expand their sales offerings. Designers create entirely new products based only on the marketing description of the product, or improve and change an existing product to adapt it to changed market or normative requirements.
In the course of our cooperation, we have prepared two brand-new pieces of equipment for playgrounds and agreed on the delivery of several of our stainless steel products. We are only at the beginning of our cooperation, but we aim to build a strong and efficient business relationship, as we have done in the past.
